Dr. Paul Berman provides:
- Comprehensive Eye Examinations for All Ages, including Infants and Preschoolers
- Glaucoma Evaluations
- Latest in Optometric Technology
- Eyewear Designing and Dispensing
- Contact Lens Fitting and Follow-up, including Bifocal, Disposable and Astigmatism Lenses
- Treatment of Eye Diseases and Co-Management of Surgery
- Perceptual Evaluations
- People who are in need of perceptual evaluations receive a two-hour evaluation that explores the areas of visual processing, visual memory, eye movement skills and visual/analytical skills. This evaluation determines how a person processes information both visually and aurally. More importantly, after this evaluation, Dr. Berman sits down with the parent, teacher and child to discuss a program designed to improve the child's perceptual skills. Dr. Berman has had great success in helping people who experience problems with reversals, (i.e., "b" for "d", "51" for "15"), skipping words and lines when reading, decoding, and eye movement skills.
